Just open the app — no sign-up is required. Create a reader profile for your child (a grown-up sets the age so stories match their level), then type or speak any topic to generate a story, or read today's picks from the daily feed.
New devices get a one-time trial of 5 free stories. After that, you can subscribe to SnapRead Premium (a higher daily story allowance plus monthly bonus credits) or buy a story pack. Purchased story credits never expire.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your device, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose SnapRead, and change or cancel there. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
Open the in-app Store and tap Restore Purchases. If you signed in with Apple or Google, signing in again also restores your stories and reading progress.

Every story has a ••• menu → Report action. Reporting removes the story from your child's library right away and sends it to us for review — we act on reports within 24 hours. You can also email support@snapread.org.
SnapRead is built for children ages 4–13 and designed to COPPA standards: story topics are safety-screened before generation, and generated text and illustrations are moderated before your child sees them. Purchases, sign-in, and external links all sit behind a grown-ups-only gate. We show no ads and use no third-party tracking.
